Burnt Cork stands for design, in the most eco-friendly way, as material and in production. It will give you the choice to keep your loved one at home or grow a remembrance tree that will last. Sharing your memories and nurturing the tree is a way of processing pain in the most beautiful way.
An urn with indefinite possibilities.
The burnt cork, typically used and produced in Portugal, has a timeless design which can be personalized. Our urns can be used as a normal urn, to keep it at home or placed in the columbarium. Both urns are eco, but our remembrance urn can be planted in a vase, garden or the woods where your loved one can become part of nature again and supporting cradle-to-cradle believes.
If you choose to keep your loved one at home, please remember that you can use the cork urn at a later stage as a remembrance urn.

We’ve created our cork collection, to show the world how sustainable and eco-friendly cork is. Our collection is 100% bio-degradable and supports cradle-to-cradle.
Our cork urns are used at home, or put into the columbarium, but our special eco collection is also used to bury in a garden, eco-forest or burial parks.
The urn is provided with earth and PH-basic nutrients, and the seed of your choice. Together with the ashes, the urn will slowly dissolve and release the ashes as nutrients to the tree.
